Partnership for the goals
This goal seeks to enhance North-South and South-South cooperation by supporting national plans to achieve all the targets. Promoting international trade, and helping developing countries increase their exports, is all part of achieving a universal rules-based and equitable trading system that is fair and open, and benefits all.
Global partnership and cooperation are essential for the 2030 Agenda. While official development assistance from developed countries increased by 66 percent between 2000 and 2014, humanitarian crises brought on by conflict or natural disasters continue to demand financial resources and aid. Many countries also require Official Development Assistance to encourage growth and trade.
IOLDCs seeks to facilitate contact with organizations in LDCs and stakeholders and/or decision-makers who can help in many issues that are currently preventing the enjoyment of human rights in such countries.
